Woodfield Canada is currently looking for a Yard & Facility Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility while supporting daily vehicle flow and yard operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in vehicle intake, transfers, facility upkeep, and preparing completed units for customer delivery.
We are a family-run business specializing in commercial vehicle accessories and work vehicle modifications for fleet customers across Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall facility cleanliness, including shop areas, offices, exterior grounds, and garbage/recycling management
- Monitor the facility for maintenance or safety concerns and report issues to the Service Manager
- Receive and inspect incoming customer vehicles upon arrival
- Record vehicle information including VINs, mileage, and vehicle condition
- Organize, stage, and manage vehicle parking within the yard and production areas
- Transfer vehicles between the main facility and overflow storage yards
- Maintain proper vehicle key control and documentation procedures
- Power wash and clean completed vehicles prior to customer release
- Perform vehicle outtake procedures and prepare completed units for pickup
- Support daily operational flow and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving and maneuvering vans, pickup trucks, and commercial vehicles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous automotive, facility maintenance, or yard coordination experience considered an asset

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
