Landscape Crew Lead

$26.00-$30.00 an hour – Seasonal Full-Time (Potential for Permanent)
Job Summary
High Standard Landscape & Construction Ltd. is a trusted landscape and construction company with over 30 years of experience. We’re currently seeking a Landscape Crew Lead to oversee and work alongside our installation team on residential and show home projects in St. Albert, Edmonton, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation of sod, trees, shrubs, mulch, rock, and other landscape materials
- Delegate and coordinate tasks to crew members to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure all work is performed to high-quality standards and within project timelines
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization throughout the day and at end of job
- Follow all safety procedures and enforce safety protocols on site
- Pick up plant and landscape materials from suppliers as required
- Tow and maneuver trailers safely between job sites and supplier locations
- Communicate with clients or supervisors as needed to clarify scope and address issues
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract (mandatory)
- Ability to tow a trailer
- Experience in landscape installation and leading small crews
- Knowledge of plant materials, sod installation, and proper planting techniques
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative

- Wage: $26.00 to $30.00
- Location: Based in Sturgeon County (just outside St. Albert)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday + Saturday.
- Start Date: ASAP
