We are an Industrial sandblasting and painting company, located 12 minutes north of Strathmore, off of Hwy 564. Various duties related to outdoor yard/labor operations, including but not limited to:
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers in all weather conditions
- Assisting with yard organization and set up of materials
- Assistance to blasters and painters doing manual sanding, masking and prepping of materials for next step, paint touch ups, packaging of materials, general cleaning etc.
- Ensuring the yard is clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience
- 1-3 years previous experience in an outdoor environment is preferred
- Familiar with working around large machinery in busy yard
- Physically fit -Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks - repetitively lifting 50lbs
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an asset
-Class 5 Drivers license and clean driving record and reliable means of transportation to and from work necessary.
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team and individual environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions accurately.
