Job Title: Professional DZ / AZ Truck Driver (Local)Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-minded DZ or AZ Truck Driver to join our local transportation team operating a 26-foot straight box truck. This position offers a steady, local schedule with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, allowing you to be home every day.

To ensure a consistent 40-hour paycheck during shorter driving routes or seasonal transitions, our drivers have the opportunity to support our internal team on-site as needed.
Responsibilities
- Local Transportation: Safely operate a 26-foot straight box truck to deliver products to local customers efficiently and punctually.
- Documentation & Paperwork: Accurately fill out, manage, and submit all necessary paperwork (invoices, bills of lading, delivery receipts) to and from customers.
- Fleet Care & Maintenance: Take full ownership of the truck’s condition. Maintain up-to-date truck maintenance logs, perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure the vehicle is taken for regular, scheduled servicing.
- Cargo & Product Care: Ensure all products are properly handled, secured, and transported safely without damage.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the internal team and provide a helping hand on-site/in the facility when driving routes are completed early, ensuring your weekly hours are maximized.
- Customer Relations: Serve as a professional, courteous representative of our company during all customer drop-offs and pick-ups.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid AZ or DZ commercial license.
- Driving Record: Must provide a clean 3-year driving abstract.
- Experience: Proven experience safely operating 26-foot straight box trucks (or similar large commercial vehicles) and navigating local routes.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous with vehicle maintenance logs and customer delivery paperwork.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality, strong time-management skills, and a desire for a consistent 40-hour work week.
- Professional Attitude: A flexible, cooperative mindset and a willingness to support the broader team when required.
