Kindercare Wellness is a multidisciplinary private practice in midtown Toronto affiliated with Kindercare Pediatrics. We provide evidence-based therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
We are seeking a psychotherapist to join our team. We are currently seeking applications from clinicians registered with the CRPO or CPBAO.
The Position:
We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist, Psychological Associate, or Psychologist to provide psychotherapy to children and teens, as well as parent consultation and coaching.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering evidence-based interventions for a range of presenting concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, and mood concerns.
Position Details
Anticipated start: September 2026, with the possibility of an earlier part-time start
Location: Midtown Toronto (in-person)
Schedule: Full-time preferred; evening and Saturday availability considered an asset
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and related approaches
- Provide parent consultation, coaching, and psychoeducation
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other members of the Kindercare Wellness team as appropriate
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with one of the following: College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents
- Strong skills in parent consultation and family work
- Excellent clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to evidence-based and ethical clinical practice
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is an asset
