Part time 16-24 hours in a two (2) week period. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AT LEAST TWO SHIFTS A WEEK ON THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!
Shift Work, Holidays required, Weekends!!!
Qualifications:
- 2-3 Year’s experience in the field.
- Child and Youth Care Worker Certificate, Social Services Diploma, Bachelor of Social Work, B.A. or equivalent, Developmental Service Worker
- through previous education and/or experience, will have a demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment dealing with various mental health issues
- knowledge and experience in crisis intervention
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- a current Broader Records Check within six (6) months
- current certification in First Aid and CPR
- a valid Driver’s License, and be insurable to drive in Ontario (G Class )
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- must be available for evenings
- must have the ability to work weekdays and weekends,
- must have the ability to interact and engage with adolescents in a therapeutic environment
- assist with the implementation of ongoing daily therapeutic programming
- ensure the keeping of systematic records, including client files, forms, logs and work as part of a team
- adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality
