We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.
Prior experience in dry cleaning or industrial laundry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with high attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Counter Staff: The primary point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include receiving garments, inspecting for damage or stains, tagging items for tracking, and processing payments.
- Marker / Tagger / Assembler: Organizes incoming items by tagging them with identification numbers to ensure they are returned to the correct customer. They also sort items by fabric type and color.
- Dry Cleaning Machine Operator: Operates the industrial dry cleaning units using specialized solvents. They are responsible for loading machines and monitoring the chemical levels.
- Laundry Attendant: Operates commercial washers and dryers for items that require wet laundering rather than dry cleaning, such as shirts, linens, and towels.
- Spotter: A highly skilled role focused on identifying and removing difficult stains using specific chemical agents and steam before the garment is cleaned.
- Presser / Finisher: Uses industrial steam presses and hand irons to remove wrinkles and restore the shape of garments. Specialty finishers may focus on specific items like silk or wedding gowns. You will be responsible for finishing garments to a professional standard, ensuring every item leaves our shop looking its best.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Address customer complaints professionally and seek prompt resolutions
Requirements
- Prior experience dry cleaning, laundry, or cleaning is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to assist customers
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Basic computer skills for reservation systems and payment processing
