Requirements:
· 3–5 years professional kitchen experience
· Strong cooking fundamentals and organization
· Experience working with fresh, local, seasonal ingredients
· Passion for farm-driven cuisine
· Leadership experience an asset (Sous Chef level)

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials that align with our culinary vision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with precision and efficiency
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or substitutions
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining experience
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated skills in culinary techniques including knife skills, food preparation, and cooking methods
- Experience in menu planning and executing diverse dishes across various cuisines
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, highlighting familiarity with special dietary needs
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting that emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional service
