Retail sales associate position at Bay Ridges Market in Pickering.
We are a busy convenience store in Bay Ridges looking to expand our team. We are seeking a part-time employee with retail experience to join our team. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Please include professional references on your resume.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Cash Register
- Provide excellent customer service
- Re-stocking
- Keep store clean and organized
- Answer customer questions
- Operate OLG Terminal
- Follow all regulations for OLG
- Check customer ID for Alcohol Tobacco and Lotto Sales
Required Work Experience and Skills:
- 1-3 years in a retail setting
- A valid Smart Serve is required to begin training.
- Cash register / POS experience
- Knowledge of OLG Lottery is an Asset
- Beer and Wine Knowledge is an Asset
- Willing to learn
- Positive Attitude
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Able to Repeatedly Lift 40lbs
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
