Overview
Pioneer Park Urgent Care Clinic is a new physician owned walk-in clinic that opened in December 2025. We are seeking experienced, motivated, and friendly PART-TIME/CASUAL Medical Office Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be proficient in the use of computers. This position will require leadership abilities and the ability to multitask. Your service focused contributions will ensure the smooth operation of our clinic and enhance the patient experience.
Shift availability is 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM weekdays and 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on weekends. You must be available for both evenings and weekends to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients/visitors warmly at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with patient registration (when needed) and manage patient deployment to specific exam rooms.
- Health card validation.
- Inspect forms and inquire about note requests to determine if they are appropriate as per clinic guidelines.
- Manage a phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls/messages appropriately.
- Manage e-fax and scanning of documents into patient electronic medical record charts.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Addressing patient questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
- Perform general office duties such as data entry and managing correspondence.
Requirements
- Experience in a medical office setting is an asset.
- Candidates with Medical Office Assistant Diploma will be given preference.
- Students currently in a Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program are invited to apply.
- Preference will be given to those who are available on evenings and weekends and accept that their hours of work may be irregular
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment.
