Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs on vehicles, including bodywork, frame straightening, and component replacement
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs with precision
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Conduct mechanical repairs as needed, including minor engine or suspension work
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations before vehicle return
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair progress and timelines
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair procedures
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Prior mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and perform manual tasks for extended periods
