We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to designated locations according to established routes.
- Ensure goods are properly loaded and organized for transportation.
- Verify the condition of products during transit and manage any issues that may arise.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by conducting regular checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation skills.
- Excellent driving record with no history of major violations.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
