Calgary, AB location. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving performance, and building a strong, safety‑focused team.
Position Overview
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Vancouver branch, including operations, sales, customer service, safety, and team leadership. You will ensure the branch meets its financial and operational objectives while maintaining high standards of safety, service, and professionalism aligned with Liftex and Brunswick Lift Rentals expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily branch operations, including yard, shop, and rental counter activities.
- Supervise and support staff across operations, sales, and administration.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow branch profitability and market share.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in alignment with Brunswick Lift Rentals standards.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated issues promptly.
- Oversee inventory management, equipment readiness, and fleet maintenance coordination.
- Monitor financial and operational performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Drive employee engagement through training, coaching, performance management, and development.
- Collaborate with other branches and corporate teams to ensure consistency across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
- Management / Leadership: 5+ years (preferred)
- Equipment rental or industrial operations: 3+ years (preferred)
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong operational and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Experience in the equipment rental or industrial services industry is considered an asset.
