Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. This role is essential in creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas such as offices, restrooms, and common spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation and hygiene standards at all times
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
