Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic schematics
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot complex systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively with customers and team members
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of mechanical components during repairs or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems, electrical wiring, HVAC units, and welding techniques
- Familiarity with schematics, power tools, hand tools, and maintenance procedures
- Prior experience working with farm machinery or heavy-duty vehicles is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various mechanical components for extended periods
- Experience with assembly processes and troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical systems is a plus
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
