Buy Rite Business Furnishings | Ethos Workplace Interiors
East Vancouver, BC
We are looking for someone to own the details that make our client experience feel organized, responsive and reliable, from the first quote through order completion.
This is a hybrid role combining client support, design coordination and administrative ownership. You will prepare quotes and proposals, process orders, communicate with clients, maintain product information, and support the presentation of our two showrooms. As your product knowledge and confidence grow, you will also begin leading prospective clients through the showroom.
ABOUT US
Buy Rite Business Furnishings has helped organizations across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland create better workplaces for more than 25 years. We are known for dependable service, practical expertise and thoughtful design.
Ethos Workplace Interiors is our newer premium sister brand, created for design-forward clients who view their workplace as an important part of their culture and business.
The two brands share one team, two showrooms and a common standard: do good work, communicate clearly and follow through.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals and client presentations
- Learn and use CET Design to support furniture layouts and specifications
- Process orders and coordinate invoicing and order documentation
- Manage day-to-day client communication by phone, email and in person
- Track details, follow up on open items and help keep projects moving
- Update website content, product listings and digital information
- Label, merchandise and organize showroom products and samples
- Support marketing, merchandising and product-library projects
- Develop the product knowledge needed to lead prospective clients through the Ethos showroom
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Please apply only if you meet all of the following:
- A genuine interest in furniture, interior design or workplace environments
- Education or experience in interior design, space planning or a related field
- The ability and willingness to learn CET Design
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working with pricing, finishes, dimensions and order information
- A natural customer-service instinct and clear written and verbal communication
- The confidence to eventually represent the company face-to-face with clients
- Strong organization, follow-through and comfort managing several priorities at once
Experience with SketchUp, HubSpot or another CRM is helpful but not required. Previous experience in commercial furniture, design, account coordination or client-facing sales support would also be an advantage.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You will likely do well here if you take pride in getting the details right, while staying open to feedback and better ways of working.
You treat clients, coworkers, installers, delivery teams and vendors with the same level of respect.
When you say you will handle something, you follow it through rather than waiting for someone to remind you. When something is difficult or unclear, you raise it early and help find a solution.
You also bring steady energy to the workplace. You can take deadlines and client commitments seriously without making every demanding day feel heavy.
This is not a generic administrative position. Design interest, accuracy and the willingness to grow into a visible client-facing role are essential.
