What you will do
Planning and Preparation of Procurement Activities
- Contribute to the overall procurement strategy.
- Organize the prequalification of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement procurement methods and strategies.
- Identify strategic or critical packages.
Tendering, Analysis, and Contract Management
- Execute or oversee critical or strategic tendering processes.
- Validate award recommendations prior to final approval.
- Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance of subcontracts.
- Provide guidance on complex negotiation activities or intervene as an escalation point.
Communication, Coordination, and Monitoring
- Act as an internal and external escalation point for contract and commercial issues.
- Oversee or participate in discipline-related coordination and follow-up meetings.
- Support governance and performance control of procurement activities.
Risk, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Oversee the management of claims and disputes.
- Contribute to the evolution of corporate processes, tools, and practices.
- Supervise contract close-out activities and supplier evaluations.
This role could be for you if you have
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in subcontract management within the construction, engineering, and/or industrial sectors.
- Strong proficiency with information systems, office software, and management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
