Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced setting. The F&B Manager will play a key role in supervising food preparation, managing restaurant operations, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards
- Supervise and train restaurant staff, including interviewing potential team members and conducting performance evaluations
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and safety compliance
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize food production and presentation
- Monitor customer service levels, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Lead team management efforts by fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and encouraging professional development
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food & beverage supervisory roles with a strong background in food service industry standards
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including cash handling, inventory control, and staff scheduling
- Background in hospitality or hotel industry is preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a team setting
