About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Bicycle Mechanic to join our team for the summer season. You'll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of bicycles to the highest standards, ensuring our customers have safe, smooth, and fun rides. Special emphasis on maintaining our fleet of gravel bikepacking/touring bikes and Mountain Bikes.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on our fleet of bicycles
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Assemble new bicycles and perform tune-ups
- Diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Assist with customer rentals and adjust bikes for comfort and safety
- Support general shop operations, including customer service as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in bicycle repair and maintenance (professional 1 year)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience with both road and MTB Shimano/SRAM Groupsets
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a busy environment
- Passion for bikes, outdoor recreation, and two-wheeled transportation
- Must be able to lift and move bikes and related equipment
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- A valid driver’s license (Class 5 or N) is required
