Mainline Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Ltd. is expanding our parts team! We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Manager to lead our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts, retail sales, and customer service, with the ability to efficiently manage parts inventory and assist customers in finding the right components. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing automotive parts through in-person interactions and phone inquiries
- Manage and organize parts inventory records
- Source and establish new supplier partnerships while identifying and developing new wholesale markets for parts distribution
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain organized stock areas, ensuring proper order fulfillment and maintenance of parts displays
- Provide technical support and advice on automotive repair parts based on customer needs
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Negotiate sales and promote additional products or services using strong communication skills
- Develop and execute department marketing plans
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with parts sales or service support
- Experience in automotive repair or related technical knowledge is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills essential for building lasting client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic math skills are necessary for record keeping and order processing
