Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet making and possess a strong attention to detail. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and installing cabinets according to specifications. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project requirements - Measure, cut, and shape wood materials to create cabinet components - Assemble cabinets using various tools and techniques - Install cabinets in designated areas, ensuring proper alignment and functionality - Apply finishes, such as varnish or paint, to cabinets as required - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role - Proficiency in using woodworking tools and equipment - Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics - Familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Skills: - Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong problem-solving skills - Effective time management and organizational skills Note: This job may require heavy lifting and physical exertion.
