This is an Independent Contractor Position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Working directly 1:1 with clients in centre and in home as needed
- Using principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to provide intervention to clients as outlined in the child's program
- Collaborating with team members
- Collect and graph data daily
- Prepare written documentation regarding child’s session and progress as required
- Participate in scheduled team meetings and conferences as required
- Present information (both written and oral) sensitively and effectively
- Collaborate with supervising Senior Therapists and Clinical Supervisors regarding programming and child’s progress
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate program in a related field (human behaviour, behaviour science, child development, social work, etc.)
- Experience working with young children (preferred). Training will be provided
- Current Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid First Aid, CPI, and CPR certificate an asset
- Be able to travel within Brampton locations and should have a valid driver's license.
