Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Process Technician to join our manufacturing team in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of our production processes. Duties
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, including mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Assist with sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products safely within the facility.
- Support food processing activities by ensuring proper procedures are followed for quality control.
- Conduct basic math calculations related to production quantities, measurements, and quality checks.
- Document production data accurately and report any deviations or issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food processing is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and material handling equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and data recording.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications related to manufacturing or food safety are advantageous. Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
