The Kleysen Group has been expanding our operations in Edmonton and we are looking to add to our fleet maintenance team. We are currently looking to hire a Transport Trailer Technician to work out of our maintenance location at 2700 Broadmoor Blvd in Sherwood Park. In this role you will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to our fleet of company owned trailers of a variety of configurations used in various applications. In addition, you will be required to perform diagnoses and repairs to mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical system defects. Some truck repairs may be required.
The shifts are Monday Day Shift
What we are looking for:
- Experienced registered apprentice (with willingness to complete) or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
- Certified CVIP Technician on both Transport Trucks and/or Trailers (or ability/willingness to obtain),
- Assist fellow technicians with maintenance and repairs as needed,
- Technician that has own tools and safety boots (see below – annual allowance!),
- Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning,
- Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time),
- Candidates must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available to our site,
- As this is a safety-sensitive position, candidates will be required to comply with our Controlled Substances policy (pre-employment/post-incident drug test is required)
