We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team and service a commercial book of business. This is a full cycle role, you’ll manage renewals, endorsements, new business, and everything in between, with a strong emphasis on strategic coverage reviews that keep clients properly protected as their businesses evolve.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage the full policy lifecycle for a commercial book of business, new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and cancellations
- Conduct strategic renewal reviews to identify coverage gaps, changes in exposure, and market opportunities
- Prepare and present renewal and new business proposals with clear, client friendly explanations
- Market accounts to our broad carrier panel and negotiate terms on behalf of clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and insurer partners
- Keep client records and documentation accurate and up to date in the broker management system
- Collaborate with producers and the broader commercial team on account strategy and new opportunities
Experience:
- RIBO licence (required)
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines brokerage
- Strong working knowledge of commercial coverages and policy wordings
- Ability to manage a high-volume book with accuracy and attention to detail
- Client-first mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Applied Epic or a similar BMS is an asset
- Self-motivated
This is a in office position available out of our Oshawa office. Hybrid work available for an experienced candidate for a maximum of 2 days.
