About the Role:
MJI Contracting is looking for a Project Manager to help run and coordinate construction projects from planning through to finish. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working closely with site, subtrades, suppliers, and the office to keep things organized and moving.
We do a mix of new construction (multifamily and commercial) as well as restoration, so experience in these areas is valuable.
Duties:
- Managing projects from startup to completion
- Coordinating with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Keeping schedules on track and helping push projects forward
- Monitoring budgets and job costs
- Reviewing drawings, contracts, and scopes
- Handling change orders and project documentation
- Communicating with clients and the internal team
- Making sure work is being completed safely and to standard
Experience and Skills
- Experience in construction project management
- Experience with multifamily and commercial builds (new construction is preferred)
- Civil construction experience is an asset
- Experience with estimating is preferred
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Strong organization and time management
- Someone who follows through and keeps things moving
- Comfortable managing more than one project at a time
- Valid driver's licenseThis is a full-time, in office position

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour
