They’re now seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who enjoys staying hands-on while guiding and developing a small technical team in a fast-paced production environment.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal step for an experienced maintenance professional ready to take ownership of a leadership role while remaining closely involved in day-to-day maintenance activities. You’ll oversee one electromechanical technician and ensure that all production and facility systems operate at peak efficiency.
You’ll play a key role in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment (including collators, laminators, die cutters, presses, and personalization machines).
- Lead, coach, and coordinate the work of one electromechanical technician, ensuring safe and effective task execution.
- Drive preventive maintenance programs and ensure work is completed and documented
- Plan and prioritize maintenance activities in coordination with production to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
- Manage parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance documentation.
- Uphold company and industry safety standards (ISO 9001, OSHA) to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
- Monitor maintenance data and performance trends, identifying opportunities to optimize reliability and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability — including motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor others in a dynamic production setting.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
