About the Position
We are looking for a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Custom Sauna Carpenter & Installation Specialist to join our installation team.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in finish carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry, woodworking, renovations, construction, or custom installations who takes pride in producing high-quality finished work.
You will work alongside an experienced Team Lead to install custom saunas at residential and commercial properties throughout Ontario. You will also assist with preparing, measuring, cutting, assembling, and pre-fitting sauna materials at our Bolton facility before installation.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with tools, solving installation challenges, and representing Saunacore professionally while working in customers’ homes and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install custom saunas at residential and commercial job sites
- Complete finish and trim carpentry work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Measure, cut, fit, and install wood components, benches, trim, doors, wall panels, backrests, and accessories
- Prepare and pre-fit materials in the shop before installations
- Read and follow drawings, measurements, installation plans, and project instructions
- Identify and resolve installation challenges while maintaining project quality
- Protect customer property and maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades
- Load, unload, transport, and safely handle tools and installation materials
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, equipment, and installation supplies
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Travel to job sites throughout Ontario as required
- Assist with occasional overnight or extended-distance installations when necessary
- Return the assigned company work van to the Saunacore shop at the end of each workday
Company Work Van
The successful candidate will be provided with a dedicated company work van for travelling to installation sites.
The employee will report to the Saunacore shop each morning to collect the assigned work van, tools, materials, and project information before travelling to the scheduled installation site.
The work van must be returned to the Saunacore shop at the end of each workday. The vehicle is not taken home overnight.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and be comfortable driving a company work vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of finish carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry, woodworking, renovation, construction, or related installation experience
- Experience using saws, drills, levels, measuring tools, nailers, and other carpentry equipment
- Strong measuring, cutting, installation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and basic installation plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, carry, and safely handle installation materials
- Professional and respectful communication skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Ability to reliably commute to the Saunacore shop each morning
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Ontario
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Willingness to obtain additional safety certifications or training

Work Schedule

Location and Travel
This position is based at our facility in the Bolton/Caledon, Ontario area, L7E 2X8.
The employee will report to the Saunacore shop each morning, collect the assigned work van, tools, materials, and project information, and travel to the scheduled installation site.
At the end of each workday, the employee must return the company work van to the Saunacore shop.
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to and from the shop each day. Travel to installation sites throughout Ontario is required and may represent approximately 20%–25% of the position.
