Job Title: Labourer (afternoon Shift)

What you will need to understand:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely perform daily tasks in a general working environment
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as wrenches, impact guns, drills, pry bars, hammers and punches.
- Record work performed
- Report maintenance and safety issues to supervisor.
- Have an enthusiastic look at contributing to the overall success of the department
- Remain interested in growing within the company
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
- Positive work ethic
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and complete setup documentation.
- Fabrication skills such manual mill and manual lathe an asset
- Strong English communication skills
Working Conditions:
- High heat and noise levels
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb steps
- Ability to work flexible hours based on production needs
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
· Must have CSA approved steel toed work boots.
