Job Overview
We are seeking a Sushi Associate to join our team at 88 Supermarket. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will know how to cut fish and preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi according to the recipe, cutting salmon, and ensure timely delivery of sushi orders
- Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meets customer expectations
- Collaborate with team members to provide catering to customers.
- Ensure that food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene are followed.
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized.
- Address the complaints professionally and inform the kitchen manager.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the kitchen manager.
Skills
- Experience in sushi preparation, cutting fish, and making sushi rolls.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices, food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
