Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) possédera un large éventail de compétences, notamment en menuiserie, plomberie, électricité, etc., afin d'assurer le bon fonctionnement et l'entretien des propriétés résidentielles et commerciales.
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Handyman/woman to perform general maintenance and repair work in the St-Lambert/La Prairie area. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling a variety of tasks across construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more, to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as drywall installation, painting, caulking, and flooring installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and concrete restoration projects
- Install cabinets, tiles, flooring, and other fixtures according to specifications
- Handle plumbing repairs including pipe fitting and fixture installation
- Execute electrical tasks with appropriate experience in wiring and circuit troubleshooting
- Estimate project costs and materials for small-scale construction or renovation jobs
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or general handyman work with knowledge of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and painting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and related machinery
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work is preferred
- Experience with construction estimating is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Valid <PERSON> license or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
