Cedar & Steam is hiring a part-time Marketing Coordinator to support social media, content creation, email campaigns, and local marketing initiatives across our spa locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on marketing role and is comfortable contributing across content, campaigns, community engagement, and marketing operations.
Cedar & Steam is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to support marketing initiatives across our wellness spa locations. This hands-on role provides exposure to a range of marketing activities including content creation, social media management, email marketing, in-spa promotions, and community engagement.
Working closely with the CEO/Founder and spa leadership team, the Marketing Coordinator will help implement marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, engage guests, and support revenue growth. This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated, and organized professional who enjoys working in a dynamic small-business environment.
Schedule: Hybrid remote with occasional in-spa work, 3–8 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Support
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies for existing and new locations while maintaining brand voice, messaging, and visual consistency
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that increase brand awareness, guest engagement, and retention
Content Creation & Campaigns
- Develop digital content, promotional graphics, and marketing materials for both online and in-spa use (Occasional in-spa visits to our Avenida | South and COP | West locations will be required to capture content and support marketing initiatives.)
- Create and schedule email campaigns and promotional communications
- Support execution of campaigns, contests, and promotional initiatives
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish posts, stories, and reels across social media platforms
- Capture photo and video content in-spa to support marketing initiatives
- Monitor messages, comments, and guest engagement and support timely responses
- Track social media performance and engagement metrics
Community Engagement & Local Marketing
- Help build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
- Support local promotions, partnerships, and launch initiatives
- Assist with in-spa activations, events, and community outreach
Marketing Operations & Performance
- Maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules
- Track campaign effectiveness, guest engagement, and marketing performance metrics
- Assist with coordination of marketing materials, vendors, and digital platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of marketing, content creation, or digital marketing experience (internships or volunteer experience considered)
- Experience supporting social media management, email marketing, and digital content development
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, and marketing or scheduling platforms
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Interest in wellness, spa, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is an asset
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing generalist who enjoys working in a collaborative small-business environment and contributing across a variety of marketing initiatives.
- Comfortable contributing to multiple marketing functions, including content creation, campaigns, social media, and promotions
- Able to take initiative and manage projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with leadership and spa teams
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment, balancing several priorities at once
- Interested in helping grow a community-focused wellness brand through creative and thoughtful marketing initiatives
