Responsibilities

- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in the restaurant industry
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, tipping, and cash handling tasks accurately
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality setting
