Man with MS (and a cat) requires daily assistance with:
-Personal Grooming, washing, showering, toileting, brief changes, dressing
-Personal Care, physio, transfers, medications (no heavy lifting required)
-Housekeeping, shopping, driving to appointments, errands, meal preparations according to specific diet
Hours: Permanent shifts available, 7 days a week
Shift 1: Mondays, 9:00am - 1:00pm & Tuesdays - Fridays from 9:00am - 12:30pm (18 hours a week), with the odd longer shift when rides to appointments are necessary
Shift 2: Mondays - Fridays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm (10 hours a week)
Shift 3: Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am - 12:00pm (4 hours a week)
Shift 4: Saturdays & Sundays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm (4 hours a week)
*It is possible to combine Shift 1 and 2 for a 28 hour per week schedule and to combine Shift 3 & 4 for a 8 hour per week schedule.
Wages: Range: $23/hr - $25/hr + $4 for gas per shift and Vacation Pay
Location: Woolwich Township (just outside Waterloo, ON), with the probability of the location changing to Waterloo in the next few months
Relevant Experience: Preferred but not necessary - will train on site.
