James Dick Construction is seeking a reliable and motivated Scale Operator to join our team on a casual basis at our aggregate products depot in Breslau.
Please note: This position is casual in nature, with work scheduled based on business needs and operational requirements. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on workload and staffing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders and truck information into the computer system
- Print and process weigh tickets
- Handle incoming phone inquiries professionally
- Communicate with the Loader Operator and Drivers using a two-way radio
- Coordinate customer orders and COD sales with our central Dispatch office in Bolton
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company software systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous scale house, dispatch, customer service, or administrative experience is considered an asset
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
