Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and handling standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain efficient workflow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer expectations and uphold restaurant standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other staff members
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
