Available to start immediately - PT and/or FTWork in a fast-paced multidisciplinary health clinic with fully functional rehab facility in the heart of beautiful Port Moody. Work alongside Chiropractors, RMTs, Acupuncturist, Naturopaths, and Kinesiologist support. We have a myriad of modalities to enhance your clinical skills such as Low-level laser therapy, Shockwave therapy, and Spinal decompression. Steps from Skytrain and all amenities in a vibrant growing community.We are a very busy clinic with a full patient caseload treating the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and incorporate evidence-based methods into patient care
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in the respective region or country
- Proven experience in hospital settings, with a preference for acute care experience
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach to patient interactions
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare standards
Pay: $60.00-$114.00 per hour
