Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dryclean Presser to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential. Previous experience in hotel laundry, cleaning, or dry cleaning operations is desired.
Duties
- Operate pressing machines and related equipment to press garments and textiles efficiently and accurately
- Inspect clothing items for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing
- Follow specific garment care instructions to ensure proper handling and finishing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment
- Assist with sorting, folding, and preparing garments for delivery or pickup
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during operation of machinery
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel laundry, dry cleaning, or general cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Basic understanding of garment care labels and handling instructions is advantageous
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
