Lead Carpenter
A Plus Construction is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in residential construction, including custom homes, renovations, additions, framing, siding, roofing, soffit, fascia, and finish carpentry.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can lead a crew, solve problems on site, and consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small crew on residential construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
- Complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Coordinate materials and daily tasks.
- Train and mentor apprentices and labourers.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of framing, roofing, siding, finishing, and general residential construction.
- Leadership experience supervising a crew.
- Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation.
- Ability to read blueprints and solve problems independently.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
