We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Quality Control team member to inspect, repair, and ensure finished pallets meet customer and company standards before leaving our facility.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, notices the small details others miss, and takes pride in producing quality work. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect finished pallets to ensure they meet customer and company quality standards
- Repair or remove pallets that do not meet specification
- Obliterate old Heat Treat markings where required
- Ensure exposed or improperly placed nails are repaired or removed
- Identify and remove damaged product (broken boards, loose boards, cracked stringers, etc.)
- Straighten and band pallet stacks
- Mark and organize pallets by size and grade requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Remove cardboard, plastic, and debris from production areas
- Work closely with production to maintain quality and product flow
- Support other operational tasks as required
What You Bring
- Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, quality inspection, or a hands-on work environment is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly
- Ability to work independently while maintaining pace
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Safety-focused and team-oriented
