Atlantic Grocery Distributors (AGD) is seeking a motivated and driven Outbound Lead Hand (Night Shift) to support and help lead our warehouse team in Bay Roberts. As we prepare for the busy summer season, we are looking to grow our leadership team and are seeking positive, engaged team members to support our outbound operations.
This role is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of outbound orders, helping maintain the high service levels our customers rely on. The successful candidate will support nightly operations, promote a positive work environment, and help drive productivity and accuracy across the outbound shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities / Qualifications
- Support and assist in leading the outbound (night shift) warehouse team to ensure accurate and
- Efficient order picking and loading
- Promote a positive, team-focused work environment while encouraging productivity and
- accountability
- Assist in coordinating nightly workflow, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and
- executed
- Lead by example in following safety procedures and company policies
- Support training and onboarding of new team members as required
- Monitor order accuracy and productivity, helping identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with Supervisors and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the shift in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
- Previous warehouse experience is required; leadership experience would be considered an
- asset
- Must demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
