Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves hands-on outdoor work focused on maintaining and enhancing various landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and skid steer
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and lawn care
- Support construction activities related to landscape features and structures
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and soil improvement activities
- Follow safety protocols and ensure the proper handling of mechanical equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs
- Ability to drive small truck and trailer
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction projects
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
