Outside Sales Representative – Heavy-Duty Fleet Solutions

AD Parts is looking for a driven, field-based Sales Professional to lead our business development efforts across the Lower Mainland. If you have a deep mechanical understanding of heavy-duty trucks and trailers and thrive on the independence of managing your own territory, we want to talk.

Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management: Proactively visit client shops, yards, and sites to maintain high visibility and build "boots-on-the-ground" relationships.
Technical Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert, helping fleet managers and mechanics select the right components for complex drivetrain, braking, and engine systems.
Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle—from generating quotes and processing high-volume orders to ensuring final delivery satisfaction.
Market Intelligence: Monitor local industry trends and competitor pricing to keep our offerings at the forefront of the market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our internal parts department to align our inventory with the specific recurring needs of your customer base.
Qualifications
Industry Foundation: Solid experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer parts; a Journeyperson Parts Technician certificate is highly valued.
Field Experience: Proven success in outside sales or territory management where self-motivation was the key to your success.
Technical Literacy: Ability to confidently discuss air systems, suspension, and heavy-duty mechanical specifications.
Communication: Sharp negotiation skills and the ability to build trust with everyone from shop mechanics to business owners.
Requirements: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract) and the physical ability to handle parts/deliveries as needed.
Digital Proficiency: Experience with sales software and the Microsoft Office suite to manage your pipeline efficiently.
Pay: $35,700.00-$123,452.17 per year
