This role is for experienced, registered Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) providing private home care in Calgary, Alberta.
Applicants must be actively registered and in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA) and comfortable working independently in a home-care environment.
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses to provide high-quality, client-centered care in private homes. This role is ideal for LPNs who value one-on-one care, professional autonomy, and making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.
You will support seniors and individuals with complex care needs, including chronic conditions, post-hospital recovery, dementia, and palliative care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care in clients’ homes
- Perform medication administration and management
- Conduct health assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Assist with ADLs and personal care as required
- Support mobility, transfers, and safety
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other delegated nursing tasks
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and care coordinators
- Deliver respectful, compassionate, one-on-one care
Requirements
- English speaking
- Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the CLHA
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
