AIR INUIT CORPORATE PROFILE
Air Inuit provides essential air transport services, including scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency flights, to Nunavik and surrounding regions, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the past 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 36 aircraft and employs over 1,100 people in one of the world's most demanding flight environments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the comfort and security of the passengers.

Perform the regular tasks described in the Air Inuit Flight Attendant Manual.

Participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.

Complete of all duties and responsibilities for passenger safety and comfort, as described in the approved Flight Attendant Manual.

Ensure that all announcements and demonstrations are done properly before takeoff/landing and at any other time deemed necessary.

Plan, direct and control on board services.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chief Flight Attendant.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must hold a valid passport

High school diploma
-
Fluent in English and in French. Inuktitut is an asset.

Minimum of one-year experience working with the public.

Available to successfully complete the Transport Canada-approved training program, for a duration of six (6) weeks in Montreal.

Available to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends and be away from home for multiple days.

State of health meeting the requirements of the position (Pre-employment medical examination)

Judicial status meeting the requirements of the position (Pre-employment criminal background check)

Professional and neat appearance, reliable, punctual and good communications skills.

REMUNERATION
The remuneration package and associated benefits will be in accordance with corporate policies.
$19.85 per hour, overtime pat at the premium rate of $29.76 per hour.
