Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Mitigation Technician to join our team. This role involves responding promptly to emergency situations such as water, fire, or storm damage, and performing restoration and cleanup tasks to help clients recover from disasters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in challenging environments. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in emergency response and property restoration.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to emergency calls and assess the scope of damage
- Perform cleaning and debris removal using various tools and methods
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with structural repairs and restoration work as needed
- Use appropriate safety procedures at all times during mitigation activities
- Document work performed and communicate progress to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy objects as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in emergency situations
- Valid driver’s license is required

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
