Hey there! We’re looking for a camp utility hand who’s handy, adaptable, and comfortable living in a remote Yukon bush camp for the season. This is a true “jack‑of‑all‑trades” role — some equipment work, some repairs, some camp upkeep, some helping the mining crew. If you like variety and don’t mind being off the grid for a few months, you’ll fit right in.
You’ll be living on site for roughly four months, working with a solid crew and keeping camp running smoothly day to day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running equipment you’re comfortable with (ATVs, loaders, skid steers, pumps, generators)
- Basic repairs on engines, hoses, pumps, small equipment
- Light welding or fabrication if you have the skills
- Camp maintenance — water systems, fuel runs, small fixes
- Supply runs into Mayo, Dawson, or Whitehorse when needed
- Helping the mining crew with day‑to‑day tasks
- Keeping camp tidy and functional
- Seasonal setup and shutdown
Some days are smooth. Some days everything breaks at once. That’s bush life.
