We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food safety and sanitation practices
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is essential
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or the food industry will support success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
