Position Details
- Position: Part-Time After School Teacher
- Location: B&D Montessori Learning Academy
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Start Date: September 2026
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for school-age children after school.
- Assist children with homework and encourage positive study habits.
- Plan and lead engaging activities, including arts and crafts, games, STEM activities, outdoor play, and group projects.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff members.
- Follow all licensing regulations and school policies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Responsible, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
- Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- ECE, ECEA, Responsible Adult certification, or relevant childcare experience is an asset.
Pay: $18.25-$34.85 per hour
