We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; experience in a bar setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is advantageous for smooth order processing.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and tip calculations.
- Experience in serving or bartending roles that showcase your ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
